It's been a while since I posted any photos. I guess nothing of late has tickled my absurdity bone. Until the other week, shopping at Target.
(If it's a little hard to read because of the glare, they're gloves you wear when applying tanning lotion so the palms of your hands don't get bronzed.)
Call me old, but I remember a time this product simply wasn't needed.

Funny Foto #79

It's been a while since I've posted a funny foto. I guess nothing has tickled my fancy of late. Until...
The other day I returned to the office after lunch, and saw this:
I thought, So that's what the inside of a car door looks like.
Then when I came around to the front...
I could envision the scene.
"Um, yeah. Thanks for coming. Listen, I know it's pouring rain. And after midnight. I think I'll walk."
Enjoy your Labor Day, folks.

Spotted at the local supermarket the other day.
For the life of me, I can't figure out why they thought to put ping pong balls in the beer aisle. I can't possibly see how the two go together.

Spotted on my walk through town last night.
I'm not 100% sure what a bralette is. But by definition, it sounds 1/2 off.

Spotted in the window of Chagrin Falls Hardware & Supply.
I love my town.
And GO TRIBE!
Quick baseball joke...
Q: What do the Chicago Cubs and the Joker have in common?
A: Neither knows how to handle a bat.
Thank you, I'll be here all week.

Tomorrow is Halloween. I saw this in my local CVS today.
That's not the Great Pumpkin, is it?
Just checking.

Funny (Not Really) Foto #74
by Michael Seese
When I started my car this afternoon, here is what I saw:
The perfect (heat) storm of
1. A hot day
2. No wind
3. Blacktop
Welcome to September, Cleveland.
(And apparently my dashboard needs a good cleaning.)

Spotted in a story window in town.
There's a joke in there somewhere, but I don't know what it is.
And Happy 4th of July everyone.

We just got back from a week in Mexico. In the duty-free section of the airport I saw these.
One even said something like "Smoking harms those around you."
Gotta love truth in advertising.

Yesterday when I parked outside the office, I peeked into the car next to mine.
At least now when my kids ask, "Dad, where does all our garbage go?" I can show them this picture.

This sign appears in front of the spaces nearest to the door at my local library.
Shouldn't the fuel-efficient cars park farther away, since they'll use less gas getting there?

A little humor to start your April Fool's Day....
The other day, I looked at the end cap from a can of frozen cranberry juice.
I love the precision of the date, two years away. So apparently, if I find this in my freezer on January 15 -- two years from now -- I'd better err on the side of caution and toss it. (My Mom would.)
Have a good week.

Funny Foto #65... What Do They KNOW?
by Michael Seese
If you want a funny example of targeted ads gone awry....
The other day, I was searching the Internet for a pronunciation of the French expression vin de pays.
The website I settled on featured an amusing ad near the bottom.
In case you don't know, to save you the lookup, vin de pays means "country wine."
Are they trying to tell me something?

I snapped a photo of my car's dashboard on the way to work this morning. (While stopped at a light, of course.
(In case you can't see, that's -4 degrees Fahrenheit.)
Brrrr.
But I still didn't wear a jacket.
Stay warm, friends.

You might have heard of this movie called Frozen. It's kind of popular. My daughter is a huge fan. One day, my wife found this at the store.
As you can see, it's a "Collector's Edition," for those of you who collect cereal boxes based on popular movies.
Awesome news. Now my box of "Psycho Flakes" won't be so lonely.

Spied at my office building.
A good idea on paper, but...
This placard appears outside the elevator on the first floor. If I'm on the ground floor of a burning building, and my first impulse is to take the elevator somewhere, then perhaps the world is better off without me.

I received this in the mail the other day.
I'm not sure I want to see the turkey inside.
Have a great weekend.
